April 29, 2014 12:50 am | Updated May 21, 2016 01:45 pm IST - HYDERABAD:

The final day campaign of former Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya of BJP and two-time MP from Congress Anjan Kumar Yadav, both contesting for the Secunderabad parliamentary seat, reflected how tough the contest was.

Accompanied by their party activists they toured the constituency consisting of seven Assembly segments. “I brought MMTS to the city and also Krishna waters,” Mr. Dattatreya reminded voters. “I am pretty confident of victory as even minorities are pledging their support,” he said, as he greeted voters in Nampally and Khairatabad constituencies.

Mr. Yadav reminded the voters of his easy availability to them and how he developed the area. “I launched 350 projects worth Rs. 20 crore through MPLAD funds in my second term. It’s going to be a hat-trick,” he exulted.
