Ambedkar University launches job-oriented course

As part of introducing job-oriented courses, Dr. B.R. Ambekdar University-Etcherla in association with Bollineni Medskills launched one year PG diploma course Medical Records and Health Information. Students with degree in MBBS, BDS, BAMS, B. Pharmacy, B.Sc, B.Com and B.A are eligible to join the course which will start from current academic year 2016-17, according to the University Vice Chancellor Miriyala Chandraiah and Registrar Gunta Tulasi Rao.

The practical oriented classes will be held both in Ambedkar University and GEMS Medical Hospital. Bollineni Medskills Center head Ch.Narasinga Rao exchanged a memorandum of understanding with Dr. handraiah and Dr. Tulasi Rao at a function organised in the University. Mr.Tulasi Rao said that there was huge demand for the students who pursued the course since keeping medical records in a systematic way was need of the hour in corporate hospitals.
