Devotees were subjected to anxious moments when an unidentified youth with a wooden stick ran amok along the thoroughfares of the hill temple. The panic-stricken devotees ran helter-skelter to avoid direct confrontation with the man who, ran high yelling unusual words. Devotees coming out of the main temple complex had a tough time reaching their parking lots. The security personnel overpowered him and took him into detention.
Sources believe the man might have consumed some heady substance that has led to his unusual behaviour. With the detainee providing them obscure replies the authorities are yet to ascertain his identity.
