The Akhila Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad activists burnt an effigy of Valentine at Rajavihar centre in Kurnool on Tuesday.

ABVP city secretary Ganesh, State executive member Mahesh, city joint secretary Harsha, organising secretary Suman and acivists Yellaiah, Thanush, Gopi, Mahesh and Anji, called upon youth to preserve Indian culture and not ape the west. “Valentine’s Day is not part of our culture and the youth must not be misled by it,” they said.
