98 cases settled in Lok Adalat

A total of 98 cases were settled in the Lok Adalat conducted at Tirupati here on Sunday. According to Mandal Legal Services Authority Chairman and Third Additional District Judge C. Purushottam Kumar, as many as five benches were set up to hear various pending cases and a total amount of nearly ₹1.30 crore was settled via the disposal of the cases.

Quick justice

Vizianagar correspondent adds: Vizianagaram district judge Alapati Giridhar said that lok adalats were helping poor litigants to get justice and peace of mind quickly. Along with senior judges, he participated in National Lokadalat in Vizianagaram court complex. He expressed happiness for disposing of 841 cases in all the courts located in Vizianagaram, Parvatipuram others.
