5 arrested for ‘holding rave party’

Kurnool II Town police arrested the lessee of a hotel, a supervisor and three officials of a crop production company on Sunday for allegedly organising a rave party with obscene dances by women on February 18, Kurnool DSP Khader Basha said on Sunday.

The Harsha Regency hotel’s lessee Allagadda Prasad Reddy, 49, supervisor Shaik Shavali and Crystal Crop Production Company’s zonal marketing manager Ponnam Suresh, 41, regional marketing manager Pagolu Subba Rao, 43 and sales manager Katha Pavan Kumar Reddy were arrested, the DSP said.

It may be recalled that circle inspector B.R. Krishnaiah was placed under suspension for allegedly attending this rave party, which was raided by She team sub-inspector Vijayalakshmi and police personnel.
