Rajya Sabha member Amar Singh is still under observation at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), where he was shifted to from the Tihar Central Jail on Monday evening. He was brought to the AIIMS after he complained of pain in the stomach area.
‘Condition stable'
“The condition of Mr. Amar Singh, who was admitted to a private ward at the Institute after we detected a rise in the creatinine levels in his body, is now stable. We are conducting tests on him and a detailed report will be submitted to the court on Wednesday,” said a senior doctor.
Undergoing tests
“Mr. Singh is undergoing different tests including blood, ultrasound and chest x-ray. Doctors from the Institute's Nephrology Department are monitoring his condition closely. All care is being taken to ensure that we do a complete check-up to rule out any major infection in the body,” the doctor said.
