Suspected militants shot at and seriously injured Manipur Advocate-General Nongmeikappam Koteshwar when he was returning here on Saturday in a convoy that also had two Ministers in it.
The militants opened fire at Mr. Koteshwar, 50, at 8 p.m. when he, Works Minister Ranjit Singh and Tribal Minister D.D. Thaisi were returning from Ukhrul after attending a function, police sources said.
