AAP lashes out at Modi

February 12, 2014 01:47 am | Updated November 16, 2021 06:44 pm IST - NEW DELHI:

After taking on the Congress, the Aam Aadmi Party on Monday night did the balancing act and launched a campaign against the BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi on the social media by posing questions on his alleged liaison with the corporate and absence of transparency in his sources of funding.

Party leader Yogendra Yadav on Twitter posted several questions for Mr. Modi on his alleged linked with Adani group using the hashtag #WillNamoAnswer.

“What is the exact relationship between Modi and Adani group? How has Adani become super rich in just 10 years? Where does money for NaMo campaign come from? Shouldn't the BJP be transparent about its funding? #WillNaMoAnswer,” tweeted Mr. Yadav.

He also asked the Gujarat Chief Minister about convicted lawmakers in his Cabinet. “How come Modi continues to have in his cabinet ministers who have been convicted? Why does Babulal Bokharia continue in Modi's cabinet despite being convicted? Can we trust NaMo to end criminalisation? #WillNamoAnswer,” he tweeted.
