The Hindu Group launches the inaugural edition of a three-day ideas conclave, The Huddle, on Friday, at ITC Gardenia, Bengaluru.

The Hindu Group launches the inaugural edition of a three-day ideas conclave, The Huddle, on Friday, at ITC Gardenia, Bengaluru. There will be 15 sessions of debate and discussion at the event, led by heads of state, policymakers, academicians, artists, writers, business and thought leaders on topics of social, economic and cultural importance.

The Vice-President, M. Hamid Ansari, will deliver the inaugural address, and the former President of Afghanistan, Hamid Karzai, the keynote address. The panellists include political leaders such as Venkaiah Naidu, Nirmala Sitharaman, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Jairam Ramesh and Manish Tewari; public figures such as Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev and M.K. Narayanan and sports legends Krishnamachari Srikkanth, Roger Binny and Syed Kirmani. The Huddle features personalities such as Karan Johar, Tanmay Bhat, Amala Akkineni, Rohini Nilekani, Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, Rana Kapoor, and Padma Lakshmi.

The event is curated by Mukund Padmanabhan, Editor, The Hindu , and Editors of group publications.
