Projects ranging from 1BHKs to villas and condos are part of the show

The Hindu’s India Property Show was inaugurated on Saturday at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. Showcasing investment options for the NRI community in Malaysia, it features realty projects in Chennai, Bangalore and beyond.

Speaking at the launch, Minister for Natural Resource and Environment of Malaysia Dato’ Seri G. Palanivel said, “This is the first edition of the Property Show in Kuala Lumpur, offering NRIs and Indian expats in KL an opportunity to gain better insights into and awareness of the latest investment options back in their home town.”

Madhu Sudan Nair, president of the KLSICCI (Kuala Lumpur & Selangor Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry), spoke about the importance of reaffirming the historic connection between India and Malaysia. “Since its inception in 1928, the KLSICCI has played a vital role as a key forum and mouthpiece for the Malaysian Indian community, actively promoting its interests in trade and industry,” he said. Suresh Srinivasan, Vice President – Advertisements, The Hindu, said: This year, we are delighted to feature 28 realtors and over 75 projects.”

Projects ranging from 1BHK to villas and condos, from the city centre to beachfront, are all part of the show.

Jai Nanak Singh, Managing Director, Training Minds, a Malaysia-based company, said, “I am constantly travelling to India, particularly Chennai and the northern part of the country. I am here to look for some place to invest in these areas.”
