Another round of snow has made its way into the Northeastern United States as people continue to dig out from earlier storms.

Snow began falling in Boston on Saturday afternoon, and New England is expected to be hardest hit by the latest blast.

The National Weather Service says up to 14 inches (35.5 centimetres) of snow is expected in eastern Massachusetts. Connecticut could see 8 to 10 inches (20 to 25 centimetres) along its Rhode Island border.

Farther south, New York City could see 2 to 4 inches (5 to 10 centimetres). The city got nearly a foot (30 centimetres) of snow on Thursday.
