It emerged that their biological parents had died in a car crash when the couple were infants.

An article about a married couple from Mississippi discovering they are twins went viral this weekend.

First reported by Mississippi Herald, several news agencies and websites reproduced it quoting the news site.

Mississippi Herald reported that the couple consulted a doctor to help them conceive but it was later found from their DNA test that they both were in fact, twins.

Websites like the Mirror, Metro, Fox News and Snopes reported that the story doesn't have a valid source. Some of the sites were quick to note that the article doesn't have a byline and that Mississippi Herald was registered in November last year and doesn't have any contact information as well.
