Mild tremor jolts Nepal again

A mild tremor measuring 4.3 on the Richter Scale on Thursday hit central Nepal in the early hours.

The aftershock was recorded at 7:41 am, with its epicentre located at Sindhupalchok district, 75 km northeast of Kathmandu.

According to the National Seismological Centre, a total of 422 aftershocks of magnitude 4.0 and above have jolted different parts of the country after the deadly April 25 earthquake in which nearly 9,000 people were killed.

On December 27, a 4.2-magnitude aftershock struck Dolakha district, also situated in central Nepal.
