Police said at least 12 bodies of migrant workers, including three female bodies, from Myanmar were found floating in the sea on Thailand’s west coast after their boat sank during bad weather.
Police Maj. Gen. Taweeporn Churin said the bodies were found near two islands in Ranong province.
Mr. Taweeporn says 38 people were rescued. Ranong is 460 km south of Bangkok and borders Myanmar.
