Authorities say a 70—year—old skydiver was killed when his parachute got tangled with another man’s and he fell to the ground.
State police say Theodore Wilson and 75—year—old George Flynn tumbled about 75 feet (23 meters) to the ground after their open parachutes became entangled on Saturday in the Pocono Mountains.
Wilson was killed. Mr. Flynn is in critical condition at Lehigh Valley Hospital.
The men had jumped at Sky’s the Limit Skydiving at the Stroudsburg—Pocono Airport, about 70 miles (115 kilometers) north of Philadelphia.
