5.2-magnitude quake jolts Tibetan prefecture in China

A moderate earthquake measuring 5.2-magnitude on the Richter scale on Monday jolted a Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in China’s Qinghai province, officials said.

The quake struck at 6:04 p.m. (local time) with a depth of about nine km, the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC) said.

No casualties have been reported yet, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
