A bus fell from a cliff in north-central China on Friday, killing 35 people on board, authorities said.
Twenty-five people were killed on the spot in Shaanxi province and 10 died in a hospital, the propaganda office of Chunhua county said in a statement. There was no word on the cause of the accident, and authorities said they were investigating.
The bus was carrying 46 passengers and that it fell into a ravine more than 30 metres deep near a forest park on Friday afternoon, Xinhua reported.
Another 11 passengers were being treated, with five in critical condition.
