Three tipsy youth knocked down by EMU

Three youth were killed on a railway track after an EMU ran over them as they tried to cross the line between Kodambakkam and Mambalam railway stations on Sunday night. The names of the dead were given as Shesanth Prasad, 22, an engineering college student from Directors Colony and his friends Karthik, 24, an advertisement executive from Rangarajapuram and Manoj, 25, of Aziz Nagar. They were returning home after having consumed alcohol at a wine shop adjacent to Duraisamy Subway in Mambalam.
