Renal care unit inaugurated

Chairman-cum-Managing Director of NLC India Limited Sarat Kumar Acharya on Tuesday inaugurated the Renal Care Unit of NLCIL General Hospital in Neyveli.

The unit has a state-of-the-art automatic reverse osmosis plant, automatic dialysis re-processor and bicarb mixture to ensure quality dialysis to the patients.

On an average, as many as 575 dialysis procedures are performed every month.

Over 1.5 lakh procedures have been performed so far.

The renal care unit has 10 dialysis machines and the NLCIL has initiated procurement of four more.
