M. Thomas, 76, one of the founder members of Pondicherry Science Forum, died here on Tuesday evening after a brief illness. He was one of the pioneers in the use of electronics for science communication.
Chief Minister V. Narayanasamy, Parliamentary Secretary to the Chief Minister K. Lakshminarayanan and other political party leaders paid their last respects. The funeral of Mr. Thomas was held at Uppalam cemetery on Wednesday evening.
