The new season of “Live Music - SecSatPondy” starts this Saturday at the PTDC Seagulls Restaurant, Rue Dumas, near Old Port.
The featured band to launch this edition is H2O Live, whose members have a passion for retro rock ‘n’ roll harking back to the golden era of classic rock and psychedelic music.
Bell bottoms, bandanas
H2O Live not only covers the hits dead-on, the frontmen guitarists Ishite and Francis also dress the part with bell bottoms, bandanas and long hair. The set list for the evening includes covers of CCR’s (Creedence Clearwater Revival) Proud Mary , Jimi Hendrix’s Voodoo Child , Foxy Lady , White Room (essayed by Eric Clapton/Cream), Born to be Wild , (Steppenwolf), early Beatles, early Pink Floyd, Elvis Presley’s Jailhouse Rock , Chuck Berry's Johnny B Goode , Sweet Little Sixteen and Muddy Waters’ Hoochie Coochie Man . Live Music - SecSatPondy is supported by the Department of Tourism, and is open to the public. Show starts at 8 p.m.
