Addressing reporters here, AIADMK MP Mr. Gokulakrishnan flanked by AIADMK unit in-charge V. Pugazhendhi alleged that the Congress candidate in Villianur Mr. Namassivayam, enraged by denial to give donation, gathered a mob and trespassed into his factory on Saturday.

He alleged that besides having forcibly entered into the premises, they started ransacking the furniture and machines and manhandled his son-in-law P. Damodharan and other staff.

Following a complaint from Mr. Damodharan, later in the evening Villianur police registered a criminal case against Mr. Namassivayam, Karunakaran, Krishnamurthy and Duraisingam.

Responding to the registration of the case, Mr. Namassivayam said, “This case was registered due to political vendetta. We will fight the case legally.”
