Counselling for govt quota seats from July 2

The counselling for admission to government quota seats in engineering and pharmacy courses is set to commence from July 2.

Over 4,612 candidates applied for admission to the engineering courses in 18 colleges and 2,062 applied for B. Pharm degree courses.

The first-phase counselling for biology-based courses including MBBS and BDS concluded on Wednesday.

All 127 MBBS seats available in Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Research Institute (IGMCRI) were filled.

According to a press release from the Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), for candidates who have availed the seat through CENTAC for biology- based degree courses, the date of admission to the concerned colleges is extended up to July 5 at 5.00 p.m.
