B.R. Babu, an IAS officer and Secretary to Puducherry Government (Welfare) received the Arunachal Pradesh State award from Governor Lt. General Nirbhay Sharma on the Statehood Day celebrations held in Ita Nagar recently.
Mr. Babu was recognised for his distinguished services in the field of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj during his stint then as Secretary, Rural Development from 2012-14 in Arunachal Pradesh. The award carries a gold medal and a citation.
