The students of Puducherry have excelled in the Central Board of Secondary Education class X Examinations achieving 100 pass percentage.
According to an official release, Puducherry stood first in the region achieving 100 per cent pass. Around 964 from 14 schools appeared in the CBSE class X exams and all were qualified for higher class.
D.T. Sudarshan Rao Regional Officer, CBSE, Chennai Region, told The Hindu , “No child was given E grade.”
Expressing happiness over the pass percentage, P. Balasubramanian, Principal, Kendriya Vidyalaya School, Jipmer said: “This has been happening for successive years. Our students achieved 100 per cent success rate for fourth consecutive year for the Union Territory. In our school, 124 students have qualified to go to next class.”
The CBSE regional office also said the details of results are available on CBSE website-www.cbse.nic.in and result sheets have been dispatched to outstation schools. The candidates who wish to apply for improvement of performance, verification/ rechecking may visit Board’s website for further details.
