Uddhav visits Coastal Road project site

Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray on Saturday visited the site of the Coastal Road project. Mr. Thackeray was accompanied by his son Aaditya and BMC Commissioner Ajoy Mehta.

The first phase will end at Kandivali and the next where the Western Express Highway ends. “The work on the Coastal Road by BMC has begun with its geotechnical survey. Uddhav ji and I visited the work site earlier today. The final phase being planned is to the end of WEH to de-clog the Highway,” Aaditya said on Twitter.

Mr. Thackeray said a global tender has been put out for this phase.
