Watch Anupam Kher enact the journey of a man who should have been a failure but manipulates his destiny and forces it to make him a success. It is the autobiographic story of Anupam — a man from a small town making it in the Hindi film Industry with ups and downs along the way.
Anupam dramatises on stage the important events in his life like first romantic encounter, his failure at the Gandhi audition, the casting in Saaransh, his personal relationships and more.

Photo exhibition: Leap in Time
Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan Mumbai presents Zeitsprung (Leap in Time), an exhibition by the Institut for Auslandsbeziehungen. Curated by German photographer Andreas Rost, the show consists of works by legendary German photojournalists Erich Salomon and Barbara Klemm whose works not only have tremendous news value, but are also complex in their composition, shedding light on the political, social and psychological situation they depict.
The exhibition also features the critically acclaimed India Series by Barbara Klemm, created during her visit to India in the 1980s.

Theatre workshop: Parados to Stage
Aspiring actors can take up this acting workshop that will give a holistic idea about theatre and production. The workshop is broadly divided into two phases — first phase will teach the participants about the nuances of acting and the second phase will take them through rehearsal process.
The workshop will conclude with a stage performance by participants at the upcoming show in Prithvi Threatre. Guest faculty includes well-know theatre personalities Mita Vashisht, Tom Alter, Benjamin Gilani and Sudhir Pandey.

Science talk: Seeking N-lightenment
Dr. Arnab Bhattacharya is a scientist and science communicator at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research in Mumbai. He will talk about a scientist’s journey leading into the world of nitrogen (N) containing semiconductors that emit light, with a long list of interesting asides. From a lab where he literally makes khichadi with elements across the periodic table, to trying to see fun ways to answer children’s questions at “Chai and Why?” sessions, Arnab will share it all at Mumbai Local.
