Actors Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma have joined hands with the transgender music group, 6 Pack Band. The band’s sixth music video is set to be released on Thursday by Y-Films, the youth wing of Yash Raj Films.

Formed in 2015, 6 Pack Band is the country’s first transgender band. Its six members are aged between 21 years to 35 years.

Ashish Patil, vice-president, Y-Films, Brand Partnerships & Talent Management, said, “We have collaborated with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, he has sung with the band. The video also has shorts of Salman and Anushka.”

After its debut single, ‘ Hum Hain Happy’, a cover of Pharrell William’s 2013 hit number, playback singer Sonu Nigam and singer Asha Bhosale’s granddaughter Zanai had lent their voice for two different songs for the band. Actor Hrithik Roshan also performed with the band for one of its songs.
