BMC tells Bombay Dyeing to stop water diversion

July 29, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 05:52 am IST - MUMBAI:

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has asked real estate and textile major Bombay Dyeing & Manufacturing Co. Ltd to stop diversion of municipal water meant for a residential building to its sales and marketing office in Dadar.

“On site inspection, it is observed that you have diverted unauthorised branch connection to your marketing and sales office from the delivery pipe feeding to Springs Tower (residential building on the Bombay Dyeing Compound, Dadar). The same was shown to your representative Mr. Kulkarni on site,” the assistant engineer, water works, F/South Ward, BMC, said in a notice to Bombay Dyeing.
