Art: The Subconscious Expression

The exhibition showcases the works of contemporary artist Sakti Burman. The show includes several works by Burman that have been sourced from important collections all over the world. Burman grew up in erstwhile East Bengal and attended the Government College of Arts and Crafts, Kolkata, before pursuing higher studies in Paris. He returned to India to understand the intricacies of traditional art. His style reflects his influences, among which are the Ajanta-Ellora Caves. The show is on till June 4.
