The production, directed by theatre artiste Shubrajyoti Barat and written by Rajesh Patel, has been inspired by a collection of anecdotes, reminiscences and stories by Rasool Hamzatov. His book Mera Dagestan , written in Hindi, served as an inspiration for several plays. Among his most famous poems is Zhuravli, which became a well-known Soviet song. Expect to travel through exotic lands, through Hamzatov’s stories, which are interspersed with song and dance. Tickets: Rs. 300.
