Mumbai’s gas distributor Mahanagar Gas Limited has increased CNG rates by ₹0.32 per kg and piped natural gas rates by ₹0.19 per standard cubic metre with effect from Thursday. The revised CNG retail selling price will be ₹41.14 and the revised PNG will be ₹24.61 in the city. The rates have been raised to offset the impact of GST’s implementation in the distributor’s overall cost.
