Mumbai: The Bombay High Court was informed on Tuesday that there is no prima facie evidence to register an FIR against ex-minister Eknath Khadse, who appeared before the land grab probe in Nagpur on the same day.

A Division Bench of Justice Ranjit More and Justice Shalini Phansalkar Joshi was hearing a petition filed by activist Hemant Gavade, which alleged that the former State Revenue Minister bought a three acre plot near Pune in less than ₹4 crores, when its market value was ₹40 crores. The petition sought for an investigation by the CBI. The court had earlier given a last chance to the State to file a report on the allegations.
