Tourism Minister Kadakampally Surendran has said that S.M. Street and Gujarati Street in Kozhikode will be developed keeping the heritage aspect intact.

Reviewing the progress of works on S.M. Street on Tuesday, the Minister said the second phase of renovation would soon commence. He supported the idea of converting it into a walking street to retain its uniqueness. MLAs M.K. Muneer and A. Pradeep Kumar, Mayor Thottathil Raveendran and District Collector U.V. Jose accompanied him.
