State likely to attest BSS certificates

The State government is seriously considering a proposal to give the Home Department’s attestation to all the course certificates issued by the Bharat Sevak Samaj (BSS), Minister for Home Ramesh Chennithala has said.

He was speaking after inaugurating a zonal convention of the BSS here on Monday.

Mr. Chennithala said the BSS had been approved as a training agency by the government as it had been guiding students on the path of new educational opportunities.

“The proposal of attestation too will be considered at the earliest after clearing the legal formalities,” he said.

Online teaching Minister for Panchayats and Social Justice M.K. Muneer inaugurated the online teaching programme of the BSS at the function. He also promised his department’s efforts to use BSS support for Kudumbasree programmes.

Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee secretary N. Subrahmanyan presided over the function. BSS national secretary B.S. Balachandran delivered the keynote address. MLAs A. Pradeepkumar and A.K. Saseendran were present.
