Summer Tide music festival, with a heady mix of the latest trends in music, will be held in Kozhikode on Sunday. The festival, organised by Sticks N Strings Music Academy, will be held at Swapnangari from 2.30 p.m. to 10 p.m. and will offer a wide range of music from film songs to folk music.
Several bands from the State and other States are taking part in the festival including Masala Coffee, Thakara, All the Fat Children, Cut a Vibe, Flourescent Forest, The Harbingers and Bennett Gideon.
40 artistes take part
Around 40 artistes, including playback singers such as Sooraj Santhosh, Suchith Sureshan and Dayashankar and noted singers from Kozhikode, will be part of the festival. The proceedings from the festival will be used for the development of Prashanthi School for the differently abled, a centre for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
