Kozhikode: Government Medical college, Kozhikode, continued to maintain lead in Elementa 2K17, the Inter-medicos Fest under way on its campus here even on day six.

The college scored 259 points and is way ahead of TD Medical College, Alappuzha, which has come second with 126 points.

Government Medical Colleges, Thiruvananthapuram and Thrissur, continued their close fight for the third position having scored 107 and 91 points respectively.

Oppana, fashion show, spoofs, and instrumental competitions marked the festival on the sixth day. The fest will come to an end on Sunday with events such as group dance, sync dance, duet dance, folk dance, group song, and duet karoke.

The results of the events on Saturday:

Western Orchestra: 1. Pushpagiri Institute of Medical Sciences, 2. Government Medical College, Kozhikode, 3. Government Medical College, Kottayam

Solo Dance (Male): 1. Harikrishnan S., Government Medical College, Kozhikode, 2. Goutham Krishna, Government Medical College, Ernakulam, 3. Ashwin K.R., KMCT Medical College

Solo Dance (Female): 1. Swetha Hemjith, Academy of Medical Sciences, Pariyaram, 2. Abhirami R., Government Medical College, Kottayam, 3. Greeshma K.S. , Government Medical College, Palakkad

Oppana Male: 1. Government Medical College Kozhikode and Government Medical college, Thiruvananthapuram, 2. Al Azhar Medical college and DM WIMS, Wayanad, 3. Government Medical College, Thrissur.

Oppana Female: Government Medical college, Kozhikode, 2. TD Medical College, Alappuzha, and DM WIMS, Wayanad, 3. Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram
