As Keralotsavam, the biggest public art-sports festival in Kerala completes 27 years, Chess has been included as one of the competition items as a result of popular demand. According to a press release, there will be 53 art events while there will be 35 sports events in the festival. The competitions as part of the District Level Keralotsavam in Kozhikode will be held from December 5 to 7 at Purameri. The sports events will be held in Kozhikode city from December 8 to 13.
The age limit to participate in the events, that will be part of the National Youth Arts Festival, is 15 to 35 years.
