KOZHIKODE: T.M. Bijula, a civil police officer (CPO) attached to the Atholy police station, who had been undergoing treatment for kidney ailment, was found dead at her house on Monday morning. The police said Bijula, 43, was found hanging. They added that she was reportedly depressed over her deteriorating health. She had been assigned to the Atholy station since 2011. Senior officers including Vadarakara Deputy Superintendent of Police K. Sudarshan attended her funeral.
