Nearly 150 participants, including students, scientists, and research scholars, will attend the State-level National Technology Day celebrations to be inaugurated by Industries Minister P.K. Kunhalikutty on Monday.
The participants of the programme, which will be held at the Malabar Palace in the city, will be from various colleges, research institutes, and Central government institutions.

Suresh Das, executive vice president of the Kerala State Council for Science and Technology, will preside over the function that is being jointly organised by the Kerala State Council for Science Technology and Environment and the Centre for Water Resources Development and Management, a release said.
Narasimha Prasad, executive director of the CWRDM, will deliver the special address on the occasion.
Anil Bhardwaj, Director of the Space Physics Laboratory, ISRO, will deliver the Technology Day address.
Dr. Bhardwaj will also be honoured for his contribution to the Mangalyaan mission of the ISRO.
A talk by S. Ashok, from the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Calicut, on ‘Smart Grid Technology’ will be another attraction of the programme.
