KOZIKODE: Two students of Thiruvambadi Industrial Training Institute were allegedly assaulted by the crew of a private bus at Manassery on Thursday.

Athul Das and Vipin Das were manhandled when they were on their way back home on a two-wheeler. The students alleged that the bus crew assaulted them after their motorbike broke down.

According to them, the bus crew turned aggressive, claiming that they had deliberately turned off the bike in front of the bus to obstruct its way. The students were later admitted to KMCT Medical College.

They alleged the bus crew had attacked them using an iron rod. The Mukkom police have registered a case against the crew of ‘Galaxy’ bus operating on the Mukkom-Mavoor route.
