Asseb Rahman, 13, son of Abdurahman, and a class VIII student of Chennamangalam Government Higher Secondary School, drowned in a pond near Poolakkodu under the Kunnamangalam police station limits here on Tuesday. He was playing with his friends when he slipped and fell into the newly created pond near the Thriveni bus stop and mini stadium.
