Woman commits suicide

A 23-year-old woman from Bangalore who was pursuing a photography course in Saligramam, committed suicide by hanging at the house she was staying in. Her body was found in a decomposed state on Wednesday.

According to police, Arya Abinsha, was staying in Virugambakkam. On Tuesday, her parents called her on her mobile phone but she did not answer. Worried, they asked her friends to check on her. When her friends knocked on her room door on Wednesday, she did not answer. They then informed Virugambakkam police. Police officers broke open the door, and found her body, which was sent to the Government Royapettah Hospital for a post-mortem examination. Further investigations are on.
