UK B Boy Championship witnesses a huge turnout

The city recently witnessed an exceptional number of contestants competing to prove their mettle in break dancing at the ‘UK B Boy Championship’ organised by Sony Music’s Zomba.

The workshop was a great success and encountered a good number of entries from across Chennai and Bangalore.

The workshop also proved that Chennai is not only the hub for Kollywood, but is also a platform for the upcoming B Boying talent.

Credited to be one of the most anticipated events in the B Boy calendar globally, UK B-Boy Championship in Chennai had 75 number of magnificent entries which includes 27 solo and three crews.

After the workshop, which was conducted by Anthony and Spin, the semi-final round took place and Btrixx (solo performance) and Graffiti revolution (crew) were chosen as semi-finalists.

Finals in Mumbai

The UK B Boy Championship India Showcase Chennai winner will compete with the finalists across Delhi and Mumbai at Mumbai.

The winner will then fly to the U.K. for the world’s biggest B Boy battle in 2013.
