Two held for cheating bank

The Central Crime Branch police have arrested two persons for cheating a public sector bank to the tune of ₹3.37 crore under the guise of taking a car loan.

A senior official said a complaint was filed by the SBI zonal manager. The V. Eesakkiraja, 34, of Guduvanchery, had taken a car loan by submitting false documents. The amount was transferred to his personal account and used for making a film. The CCB officials found a loan counsellor was involved. Both were arrested on Tuesday.
