Acceding to demands of the public and motorists, the traffic police are set to revert to a two-way traffic plan around Luz Church Road and Royapettah High Road with a slight modification to the system which existed earlier.

All light motor vehicles (LMV) and two-wheelers coming from R.K. Mutt Road will be allowed to go straight towards Royapettah High Road or take left towards Luz Church Road or right towards Kutchery Road to reach their destination. However, MTC buses and goods vehicles will not be allowed to go straight on Royapettah High Road. These vehicles can only take a left towards Luz Church Road or a right towards Kutchery Road.

LMVs and two-wheelers coming from Musiri Subramaniam Salai towards P.S. Sivasamy Salai will be allowed to take right turn towards Luz Church road via Karpagambal Nagar left or right to reach their destination. But all the MTC Buses and goods vehicle coming from Musiri Subrmaniam Salai will be allowed to take left turn towards P.S. Sivasamy Salai to reach their destination.
