Think Music India bags audio rights of Kabali

Rajinikanth film once again in social media focus

Amidst much speculation about when the songs of Rajinikanth’s Kabali would be released, Think Music India announced on Friday that they had bagged the audio rights for the much-anticipated film.

The music label announced on Twitter that this was their tenth collaboration with music director Santhosh Narayanan and third with Pa. Ranjith, who has directed the movie.

Kalaippuli S. Thanu, who is producing the movie through his banner V. Creations, too tweeted that Think Music had bagged the Tamil, Hindi and Telugu audio rights for Kabali . The music label had also bagged the audio rights of the banner’s last movie, Vijay-starrer Theri .

After the announcement was made by Think Music with “#KabaliDaThinkMusicDa,” the hashtag began to trend on Twitter with hundreds of fans tweeting in excitement about the possible dates for the audio launch. Producer Thanu has said that they will make an announcement on the date of the audio launch too.

The movie is said to trace the story of a don in Malaysia, to be essayed by Rajinikanth.

With Radhika Apte in the female lead role, the movie also features an enable cast of Kishore, Dinesh, Kalaiarasan, John Vijay and Dhansika. A teaser of the movie, which was released on May 1, had gone viral on social media sites.
