Tests held on GSLV Mk III cryogenic engine

: ISRO has successfully conducted a test to check the first C 25 stage of GSLV Mk III indigenous cryogenic engine at its facility in Mahendragiri of Tirunelveli district on Saturday.

Officials of the Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC) conducted the test at the ISRO Propulsions Complex in Mahendragiri, where the engine was ignited and the test was performed to study the flight characteristics of the engine, a senior ISRO official said.

“The test was successful. We had accomplished what we aimed for,” he said.
