Summit on entrepreneurship

Emphasising the need to use technology effectively, Krishna V. Sistla, senior director, Oracle, Asia Pacific, said, “Technology is changing the way we communicate and do business, so everyone has the potential to become a job-giver rather than a seeker.”

He was speaking at a youth technology summit organised by ICT Academy of Tamil Nadu at Panimalar Engineering College, Poonamallee, recently.

Speaking on the qualities needed to develop a career, K. Swaminathan, entrepreneur, said, “Everyone must be committed to developing the right mix of knowledge, skills and attitude to be able to excel.”

The summit was held to discuss technology intervention and entrepreneurship, with 3,000 graduating students from the State participating.
